Shuffle Buddy

Hi again! It’s Josh Pullen from Shuffle Buddy. I don’t know about you, but I’m facing the beginning of this school year head-on with courage, optimism, and a few complaints:

1. I’m sick of my class rosters constantly changing.
2. I struggle hard with attendance when I’m still learning names.

Same boat? I JUST (~2 hours ago) added two new features to help. (Yes it’s late and yes I will be going to bed soon. Don’t worry about me; this email is about you.)

1. I added a built-in picker wheel to save you time.

You could use the excellent WheelOfNames.com, which is what I did last year. But Shuffle Buddy already knows your roster, so there’s literally zero setup. It just works.

As a bonus, if you make your groups in Shuffle Buddy, you can also pick a random student from a specific group. Again, zero setup. (I’m so done with setup.)

2. You can now take attendance in Shuffle Buddy, which streamlines generating groups & picking names.

This one’s a pro feature. Take attendance in two simple steps:

1. Click directly on your seating chart to mark the empty desks.
2. That’s it.

Taking attendance directly on the seating chart is so much easier than using a roster, especially when you’re still matching names to faces.

And, to save you a bit more stress, the group generator and name wheel will be smart and exclude your absent students.
